  1. All rules for PC behavior and game objectives (otherwise known as turn-in conditions) are ICly known.
  2. All participating PC powers are off for the duration of the game.
  3. This is a mingle game with light and optional elements of PvP. The following actions will result in immediate disqualification and jail time for offenders:
    • PC vs PC fighting/violence or instigation thereof
    • PC > Pokemon violence or attempts to force a Pokemon to attack a PC
    • Theft or attempted theft of a Pokemon

Please ping the runner if anything like this occurs in addition to filling out your turn-in accordingly.
  4. Both characters and their Pokemon are free to leave the Game Tower without penalty, however any development that occurs off camera or not in-person (inside dorm rooms, via text/messenger apps) cannot be used for game turn in.
  5. Your character's phone serves multiple functions in this game:
    • Rules explanation.
    • Pokedex functions (explaining pokemon types, moves, registration info blurbs, habitat, etc).
    • Recording characters' experiences for evaluation at game in (aka submitting turn-in).

  6. Your character has freedom to roam within the setting which has been divided into different destinations/areas with exclusive activities/attractions. Please use the separate Idolpro posts to thread activities where they occur so we can avoid captcha. (Ex: If battle arena stuff goes downtown; swimming and sand castle contests should be in the beach post. Etc.) Although not specifically mentioned, there are large walls that prevent characters and their Pokemon from wandering into the wild so no one can get lost.
  7. You have authorial control over your character's pokemon's actions as though they were an extension of your character. You can also write them as having whatever personality/disposition you'd like. If you absolutely need a human NPC ping the runner, but please be kind and handwave interactions when possible.
  8. Battles are not scored/required. If you do choose to engage in trainer combat, work out among yourselves who wins/loses. Although combat moves can have all the special effects their names imply, no physical/visible injuries are sustained in battle; the Pokemon's health stat drops until it passes out. Visit the Pokemon center for a free heal to wake it up again.
  9. For the purposes of this game Pokemon mature through the course of natural interaction with their caretakers/the world around them as follows:
    • First evolutions can happen after two threads of 15 comments.
    • Second evolutions that are not item-induced can happen after an additional three threads of 15 comments.
    • Complete a laboratory quest to receive the necessary item for an evolutionary item.

  10. You are limited to one Pokemon per character for this game. Refer to these rules about available Pokemon.
  11. Items for catching, healing, and artificially raising/buffing Pokemon are currently unavailable. Any items "bought" within the game can be "purchased" for free, however all items obtained within the game must remain within the game tower at the end or else they'll disappear.
  12. As always, be excellent to each other, and please contact the runner for any questions, comments, or concerns.

  1. Turn-in cut-off is 4 hours and 10 minutes from game start, or by 8:10pm CST / 6:10 pm PST / 1:10 am UTC o'clock o'clock. At this time, all turn in submissions will be frozen (although you are free to continue playing without points after this if you want).
  2. You should include your character's name and unit in the header and the following format:

  3. There can be a maximum total of 5 winning units. Winning units will be determined by the following categories:
    • MVP (highest single points winner) (1 winner)
    • Unit with the most points (total and average) (2 winners)
    • Team/Unit with the most princesses (1 winner)
    • Team/Unit with the most interesting steal (1 winner)

In the case that a unit would technically win for more than one category, then they'll win one and then the runner-up for the open category will be selected

  1. Each character ICly has a pawn that is moved forward by rolling a six-sided die; each group will have their own unique game board which is editable so you can keep track of where your character is on the board.

  2. Establish a turn order OOCly with mutual agreement or by rolling a die against each other in the dicebot chan on Discord. The command to roll a dice is ".roll 1d6" without quotations.

  3. When it is a character's turn, the player rolls in the dicebot chan. The pawn ICly will be magically moved to the corresponding space (think ala Jumanji). Characters are then to follow the directions for each square color provided which are as follow (and can also be found in the board's key for easy reference):
    • BLUE: Pull a regular piece of regular jewelry, your choice, from the jewelry box.
    • RED: Pick a piece of makeup, your choice, from the makeup kit.
    • GREEN: Steal a regular piece of jewelry, your choice, from another player.
    • PURPLE: Remove a piece of jewelry or makeup.
    • GOLD: Take the crown from the jewelry box or from the player wearing it.
    • BLACK: Take the submission collar from the jewelry box or whoever is wearing it.

  4. Characters are unaware of this, but wearing different items have different effects. See rules 14 & 15 as well as the items & effects list below for more details about the specific effects.

  5. Makeup includes perfume in addition to the listed cosmetics; jewelry includes only accessory items. Regular items include all makeup and jewelry except for the crown and submission collar. There is an unlimited number of regular items to be found in the jewelry box and makeup kit, however there is only one crown and submission collar per group; these are considered special items. Special items can only be worn if a character lands on a gold or black space.

  6. Regular items' effects only last as long as they are worn and a character can choose not to wear a regular item if rolled. However: a regular item that has been taken off cannot be exchanged by a character for a different item from the box, nor can an item be counted toward a character's point total at the end of the game if removed by choice, and characters can only pick up an item from a square the turn it is rolled. If a character attempts to cheat these rules, please notify the game runner. :)

  7. Each item worn at the end of the game is worth one point (including special items) for turn-in calculations.

  8. If a character rolls on more makeup or jewelry squares than there are unique items, they can still double up for more points. Five necklaces is still five points.

  9. Effects between unique items stack (so if you wear a necklace and perfume, you have both effects); if you get enough items to have multiples of one unique item (say, two necklaces) the player can choose if the effect for the unique items changes or stacks between options.

  10. Characters must (and will feel magically, irresistibly compelled to) put on the submission collar or crown if their pawn lands on the corresponding space, even if someone else is wearing it. Characters currently wearing these items may or may not feel compelled to give them away at player discretion.

  11. Characters who land on a purple square must remove an item and will be magically forced to do so even if they don't want to. In the event that the only thing they have to remove is makeup, there are magic wipes for removal.

  12. In the event that a character wearing the submission collar rolls the crown, the characters wearing the crown and collar will be compelled to swap their items.

  13. Powers are on for the duration of the game.

  14. The character who either gets to the End space while wearing the crown or is wearing the crown when the game ends after four hours will find their clothing transformed into a dress fitting of a princess for the rest of the IC day. (This is not ICly known beforehand.)

  15. The character who either gets to the End space while wearing the submission collar or is wearing the submission collar after four hours will end up with a tattoo of the item around their neck (which will fade in 2-4 IC days) and lingering compulsions to obey any/all crown-wearers during that time. (This is also not ICly known beforehand.)

  16. Be good to each other. This should go without saying because of Imeeji's rules, but please remember that even though powers are on and status effects are beyond characters' control ooc communication is important. Please pay attention to and heed any person's hard no's / squicks and be kind to one another.
